April 8, 2011The granite arrived first thing and looks gorgeous!
The stove and refrigerator are functional, but there's no water for ice yet. That will be finished on Saturday along with plumbing to the sink and dishwasher.
I keep forgetting to mention that we have a new back door awaiting installation.
The granite is Black Galaxy. Each of those bright specks is real copper embedded in the rock. I can't seem to show the reflectivity and richness of the color. 
This is the pendant light above the sink. It's made with canning jars!
It's Beautiful! I can't wait to see it with my own eyes, and I honestly can't believe it's the same kitchen! When does the sink get put in and the rest of the wiring get done?
ReplyDeleteBeen trying to call you for 2 days, but I know you have tons of work to do. Andy's at a gig all night tonight & at the White House pretty much all day tomorrow....
So far things look good for the weekend. "No news is good news" kind of rule in that area. :)
.....and Robin's right....the window looks ginormous!
